Quickstart

From nothing to holding a basket in about five minutes.

The fastest path to your first basket is the zap funnel: sign in, fund your wallet, and mint in one click, paying with ETH or USDG. You don't need to hold any of the underlying stocks: the zap buys the exact constituent amounts and mints for you, all in a single transaction.

Before you start: Vimen is not available to US, UK, Canadian, Swiss or UAE persons, the contracts are unaudited, and deposits are capped. Read Risks first.

Open app.vimen.org and sign in. The app uses Privy, so an email address is enough; an embedded wallet is created for you. If you already have a wallet (Rabby, MetaMask, Rainbow…), connect it instead; the app offers to add Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663) automatically. Details in Wallet & network setup.

Fund your wallet

The zap takes ETH or USDG (the chain's stablecoin). If you already have ETH on Robinhood Chain (most people do, it's the gas token), you can skip straight to minting. Otherwise hit Get ETH / Get USDG: the app deep-links into Relay with the destination, recipient and exact amount prefilled. Relay bridges from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Solana or Bitcoin in a couple of seconds for a few cents. The mint panel polls your balance while you're off bridging and flips to ready by itself when funds land. More options in Funding your wallet.

If paying with USDG: enable it (once, ever)

The first time you zap with USDG, the app asks for a one-time ERC-20 approval of USDG to the canonical Permit2 contract (0x000000000022D473030F116dDEE9F6B43aC78BA3). After this, every USDG mint is just one signature + one transaction. The router never holds an allowance of its own.

Paying with ETH needs no approval and no signature at all: native ETH travels with the transaction itself.

Mint

Pick a basket (say MAG7), choose ETH or USDG, enter an amount, review the quote, confirm, done. Your ETH is swapped into the exact constituent amounts inside the same transaction (any unspent ETH is refunded automatically). The quote you see is the exact execution number, not an estimate: the router simulates the real swaps to price your mint (see VimenZap internals). If any constituent's pool would overcharge you by more than 5%, the zap disables itself loudly rather than filling quietly at a bad price.

Verify, hold, or unwind

Your basket token is a plain ERC-20: hold it, transfer it, LP it. You can verify backing yourself at any time: open the basket contract on Blockscout and call isFullyBacked() in the read tab. When you want out, redeem in-kind (always available, no fee) or zap-redeem back to USDG or ETH in one transaction (the Receive toggle on the redeem tab).

Prefer to mint in-kind?

If you already hold the constituent tokens, you can skip the zap and deposit them directly; see Minting in-kind. That path never touches a DEX and works regardless of pool liquidity.
